The past few days, I attended the Wyoming State Bar Annual Meeting, and connected with so many practitioners from across the state, and even a few from as far away as Texas. As I attended CLE programming, I was continuously gratified to see how attorneys shared their expertise, knowledge, and experiences with each other. Many attorneys also sought out the recent graduates to learn more about their plans and I often overheard, “Oh, and you should talk to….”, thus sharing their contacts and networks freely and widely. This impressed upon me two things. First, a community is constantly built by shared experiences, interactions, and vision. Second, this legal community — the bench and the bar — are committed to continuing to strengthen the foundation and expand all of our capabilities. We are fortunate to be beneficiaries of those commitments, and I look forward to working with you to continue that wonderful tradition.
