3L Student Darren Cook was recently awarded first place in the American Bar Association’s Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources (SEER) Alternative Dispute Resolution Student Writing Competition. The competition is open to law students nationally, and his submission beat out exceptional entries from across the country. His paper Collaboration on the Colorado River & Survival of Endangered Fish will be posted in various locations on the ABA website for the SEER Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee.
A native of Wheatland, Wyo., Darren earned two bachelor degrees from the University of Montana in Environmental Studies and Political Science. In addition to earning his law degree from the University of Wyoming, he is currently working on his Master of Public Administration degree in the College of Law joint degree program. Darren is also a member of the Wyoming National Guard.
